Taking advantage of Xiangshan’s natural beauty, the team embarked on a scenic hike that allowed everyone to experience the stunning landscapes. Along the way, team members engaged in friendly challenges, adding a spirit of camaraderie to the experience. The hike provided a refreshing break from formal sessions, giving us all a chance to recharge and appreciate the serene beauty of the region.
Evening Bonding Over BBQ, Bonfires, and Seafood
The coastal surroundings of Xiangshan set the perfect scene for bonding over meals. One evening, the team enjoyed a beachside BBQ and bonfire under a starlit sky—a chance to unwind and connect in a relaxed setting. Another night, the team gathered together for a seafood feast in Xiangshan’s famous fishing district, where local flavors and engaging conversations reminded us of the rich culture and community that make Clearly Local a unique place to work.

Lights, Camera, Teamwork: The AM2024 Competition
One of the event’s most thrilling activities occurred at Xiangshan Global Studios, where teams competed in an exciting AM2024 Competition. Tasked with producing short videos on-site, each team took on roles as directors, scriptwriters, actors, and film editors, crafting creative storylines against professional backdrops. The activity allowed our team to showcase their creativity and highlighted our collective ability to collaborate and innovate under pressure.
Hitting the Piñata
A big surprise appeared at the wrap-up of AM2024: Christian Franz from our Mexico Office brought a touch of Mexican culture to the event with a piñata-breaking activity that became the grand finale. With the lively beat of a traditional Mexican song in the background, nearly every team member took a turn trying to break open the piñatas—two of which were traditionally handmade in Mexico! Cheers and laughter filled the air as candy treats finally spilled out, delighting everyone and bringing a festive close to AM2024.
The piñata activity embodied the diversity, enthusiasm, and unity that defines Clearly Local. It was a celebration of our shared values and a reminder of how each team member’s unique background enriches our collective experience.
